The art of persuasion surrounds us — on television or online platforms like YouTube and Facebook, on billboards and public transit, in newspapers, magazines, logos, and — let’s not forget — the public relations departments in nearly every large institution and organization.
Advertising and marketing competes for our time, attention, loyalty and, usually, for our money.

O’Reilly, Canada’s most famous ad-man and the host of CBC Radio’s wildly popular Under The Influence, joins the Salt Spring Forum to discuss these questions and more at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7 at Gulf Islands Secondary School.
