The Salt Spring Forum is honoured to present Louise Arbour, who is quite possibly the the most accomplished Canadian currently on the world stage.

Louise Arbour has served as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunals for both Rwanda and the Former Yugoslavia, and Judge on the Supreme Court of Canada. Among her many awards are 39 honorary doctorates from universities around the world. Louise Arbour currently serves as President of the International Crisis Group, a highly influential non-governmental organization that works to prevent and resolve deadly conflicts.
